Studio Musings...

Sand, sea, and marsh.  My favourite painting place. 

 I love to create an impression of space and atmosphere.

Large brush strokes and abstracted shapes create a 'tapestry' of colour and texture.

I use a flat, one inch synthetic brush and sculpt the oils, painting quickly.

If I can resist fiddling and finish with a single 'flourish' I am happy.

The brush stroke bottom left was my final statement in this picture.
