Studio Musings...

This painting was inspired by another one in my studio. 

I covered one half of a landscape with paper leaving the other side visible.

There was no intention to copy, just to use the now vertical format as an idea.

The painting evolved into this land/skyscape and when I had finished I noticed there were distinct layers, like strata.  It could all be land but I think the top part resembles sky.

Pure fiction.
