Studio Musings...


Another re-work of a previous painting.
It was called 'Storm Nearby' and although quite expressive I wanted to push the limits.

It took me fifteen minutes of fast working to bring more life to the piece.
I tried not to overwork or it would become laboured.

I darkened the sky to give strength and contrast to the yellow flowers of the oilseed rape fields, and brightened the fields to show the acid yellow visible over our county.
