A wide format suits this scene.  

Another piece of board offcut was sanded and gessoed with two coats.

Sketching the paint loosely around the board I began to focus on a bay

with a view from some hill tops.  No real place just an atmospheric study.

I deliberately left the colours and tone soft to give a misty feeling.
