Seasonal touch.

When September Comes   Oils on canvas board   12 x 8 inches

Season of mists.  September on the hills.

Studio Musings...

Just before bed I went to lock up my studio and decided
to give myself a fifteen minute challenge.

I quickly scrubbed the colours on this white board with a large brush.
Reminiscent of the Peak District I wanted to create an abstracted study.

There is movement with the diagonals and texture from the brush marks.
A change of colours depict fields, trees/hedges and distant hills.

This is what I call 'playing fast and loose'.  Great fun.
