Painting light is a favourite subject and seascapes lend themselves in a spectacular way. 

Loosely applying the oils to blend and form an abstracted image I sculpted the land mass and ebbing tide with one brush from start to finish.  Using a half inch size brush on a 5 x 7 support is a good way of preventing tightening up.  Fussing is prohibited.
