Glitterati.

Gilt Edge, Yorkshire   Oils on canvas board   5 x 7 inches

A golden moment captured by brave strokes of a loaded brush.  Loosely painting an impression of sunlight on land and sea I wanted to create a 'sense of place'.

Sometimes there are golden moments when a painting comes together quite quickly and this one was gilt-edged.  It said quite firmly "step away Anne" so I obeyed.  I am pleased I did...I like it.
