Several years ago I was driving through Doddington, near Lincoln

when I saw the late afternoon sun on the trunks of these Pines.

At the side of the lane was a small old barn with blue doors.

I liked the angles of the roof with the shapes of the trees.

This barn has been 'demolished' to make a new building and the old world look has gone. 

I often pass this place and it doesn't look the same now.

It had to make way for modernity.
