Watery.


Floodlands  Oils on board  26 x 34 cm.  £ 200 


Flooded fields and riverside.  
Reed beds are home to wildlife.


Studio Musings...

This landscape was made in stages.
An underpainting set the scene with a 
rub-out technique to make paler marks.

When dry, a composition was teased out and left aside.
Several weeks later I decided to finish the piece with transparent glazes.

I like the ethereal feeling and a sense of watery patches.

Below is a framing suggestion.
